Delicious chocolate with Handful freeze dried fruit

Winter days brings us so many joy, but also the fact that we spend more time inside. If you are a mom, then you know that this could be challenging with kids and how to animate them.

In colabaration with Vanja from IG @kafamami, we brings you an idea for activity that will be interesting to your kids and also you will have tasty snack for them. It is important that we teach our kids about healthy food and the best way is to doing it through practical example. And there is no better idea then healthy chocolate 🙂

Ingredients :

White chocolate – 300g Greek yogurt, 50 g honey, little lemon juice. Mixed all ingredients and in thinner layer put it on baking paper. Decorate with Handful fruits and let it cold for an couple hour.  
Dark chocolate – 80g dark chocolate, 30g honey i 3 spoons of coconut oil. Melt all ingredients on stem, put it on baking paper, add Handful freeze dried fruits by your choice and leave it in fridge for couple hours.


Recipe for Handful chocolate and fruity balls


  • 200 g butter cookies
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 300 g dark chocolate
  • different cover ingredients, Handful crunched strawberry and pineapple, ribbed chocolate, coconut etc.


  • Blend cookies in small pieces. Add warm milk with vanilla and salt.
  • Work butter melted on room temperature in a way to become creamy. Add cookies with milk, and blended. Then melt dark chocolate and add to previous mixture.
  • Leave it in fridge for an hour.
  • Prepare cover part – Handful pineapple and strawberry crushed in plastic bag, coconut, ribbed dark chocolate etc. 🙂
  • Use hands to make balls and roll it in what ever you like. Bon Appetite.

Healthy cake with Handful pineapple

When it comes to healthy food adviser, she is one of the best. Zvezdana thank you for the wonderful cooperation.


100g butter, 2 eggs, 1 small spoon of vanilla extract, 80g hazelnut flour, 35g coconut flour, pinch of salt, 130g coconut sugar, 20g Handful freeze dried pineapple (1/2bag), 40g of dark chocolate

Preheat oven on 180 C degrease.

Melt butter and cool it down. Add eggs and vanilla and mixed together for an 2 minutes. All dried ingredients mixed together and add to wet ingreadients with spoon. Pineapple pieces add on the end.

Oiled baking pan with coconut oil and bake it around 50minutes. When its over, cut it and coat it with dark chocolate + pineapple pieces for decoration.

*Cake could stand in fridge for 3 days


Muffins with Handful freeze dried cherry and hazelnuts

Fruity, enough sweet, perfectly tasty healthy breakfast for take off.

Advantage of making muffins with Handful freeze dried cherry is that there is no humidity in fruit. Therefore, cherries will not fall on the button but will be perfectly split throughout pastry. It will take over just enough humidity and become soft, and tasty.

Ingredients (cup of 200ml):

2 cup spelled flour
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 small spoon of baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 small spoon of cinnamon
2 bag Handful cherry
2 hands of dried cranberries
100g roasted hazelnuts – 60g for pastry, 40g for decoration
2 eggs
1 cup almond milk
5 spoons melted coconut oil

Preheat oven on 180°C without drier
In large bowl mixed all dried ingredients.
In separate bowl mixed eggs with almond milk and coconut oil. Add to dried mixture.
Use silicon molds (12 of them). Pour it and decorate with rest of the hazelnuts.

You can keep it in cover plastic or metal bowl to keep freshness for several days.


Lemonade with Handful freeze dried fruit

Lemonade could be not so bored. With few little tricks, you will be able to surprise someone with refreshing summer drink.


  • 3 lemons
  • stevia
  • water
  • Handful strawberry and Handful cherry freeze dried
  • Ice cubes

Squeezed lemon, adding app. 1,5l water, ice, stevia and freeze dried Handful fruit. Lemonade will get beautiful red color which you can decorate with few lemon slices and mint.

Chocolate tart with Handful freeze dried strawberries

Tart button:
• 300g peeled dates (leave it in boiled water for 10 minutes)
• 100g raw almond
• 25g organic cacao
• 40g chia seeds
• 25g almond butter

In a food processor, combine all ingredients. Process until very fine crumbs form. Press crumbs firmly into a 9-inch fluted tart pan with a removable bottom. Let cool for an hour.

Chocolate part:
• 200g dark chocolate
• 2 spoons of coconut oil
• 25g almond butter

• Handful freeze dried strawberry

Melt chocolate with coconut oil and stir it over the tart button. Melt almond butter with spoon of coconut oil and put it randomly over the chocolate part. Decorate with Handful strawberries.

Cool it down for an hour. Bon Appetite 🙂

Fruity granola

Still one of the favorite breakfast in every family. Beside the fact that is very healthy, granola gives you opportunity to be creative just with few different ingredients.


  • 1 cup (200ml) oats flakes
  • 1/4 cup cut raw almonds(or any other nuts)
  • 1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1 Handful strawberry (20g)
  • 3 spoon of coconut oil
  • 3-4 small spoon of honey
  • 1 small spoon of vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt


  • Preheat oven to 150°C
  • Mixed all dry ingredients in big bowl
  • Add coconut oil, honey and vanilla
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake until crust is dry and set, 20 minutes. Let cool.
  • Serve with sour cream, yogurt or milk.

Chocolate Madeleines

Handful brings you recipe for magnificent chocolate madeleines with our freeze dried fruit, chocolate and cherries… mmm…

1 spoon of butter, for buttering the tin thoroughly to make sure the madeleines release easily
75 g butter
85 g chocolate
90 g sugar in powder
30 g flour
20 g cacao powder
3 egg whites on room temperature

100 g melt chocolate
small slices of white chocolate
freeze dried Handful cherry


Mixed eggs whites. Chocolate and butter melt on medium temperature and then put it in some cold dish, to cool down it.

In separate dish, mixed sugar, flour, cocoa powder and salt. Add it to mixed eggs slowly. Stir in flour mixture until combined. Add chocolate mixture and mix with a spatula until well blended.

Chill in the refrigerator one hour. If your pan makes only 12 at a time, chill remaining batter in a bowl and bake in batches.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake about 8-9 minutes, or until madeleines are springy to touch. Cool in pan 1 minute, then unmold madeleines onto a rack.

When they cool down, dipped madeleines half in melted chocolate and cover it with chopped white chocolate and Handful cherry.

Mini pavlovas with Handful peach in vanilla sauce

We would like to share with you small part of cooking skills Milice from Milinog kuvara, and she prepared delicious desert with Handful freeze dried peach.

Freeze dried fruit you can use as a snack but also as a part of your cooking special ingredients. Don’t forget it is fruit prepared with special freeze dried technique that is up till know best way of preserving fruits and vegetable after fresh fruits.

3 eggs whites room temperature
150 g sugar
1 spoon wheat starch
1 small spoon of viniger
1 spoon Handful breskve crashed

Vanilla sauce:
2 yolk
50 g sugar
120 ml milk
90 ml cream
1 spoon of Handful peach crashed
1 vanilla stick

Mascarpone cream:
200 g mascarpone cheese
1-2 spoon sugar powder
2 spoons of mil

Handful peach, freeze dried peach for serving


Oven heat at 130 C, use baking paper. Eggs whites blended adding sugar until you get nice and smooth texture. Add wheat starch, viniger and Handful peach, pa ponovo mutite minut-dva da se sve sjedini. Sipajte smesu u špric kesu sa okruglim nastavkom i istisnite velike puslice i nekoliko manjih, za dekoraciju. Stavite u rernu i pecite 1 sat. Ispečene puslice ohladite.

Recipe for cookies with Handful freeze dried strawberry!

This is one of the recipe that we found in the cookbook of our grandmothers.

Shopping list:

  • 250 gr butter
  • 5 spoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 yolk
  • 2 vanilla sugars
  • 500 gr flour
  • marmalade out of Handful strawberry (boiled water, add Handful crashed strawberries, sugar, gelatin)
  • sugar powder

Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, mix softened butter and flour together with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. In a smaller bowl, beat eggs and yolk with sugar until well mixed, and add to a large bowl and blend.

Work with hands, until pastry is well done. Divide it on 2 or 3 parts and cover with foil. Leave it for 15-20 minutes in refrigerator.

Roll out first part with floured rolling pin to about 1/8 in. thick. Using the largest cookie cutter, cut out shapes and place on cookie pans lined with parchment paper, making an equal number of cookies on each pan. Modlicama izvaditi manje krugove. Then with the smaller cookie cutter, cut a shape in the center of the cookies on one pan only. 

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cookies just barely begin to turn brown on top. Remove from the oven and cool until firm.

To assemble, spread the pan of whole cookies with the strawberry jam, leaving more in the middle than at the edges. Using a small sifter or strainer, sift powdered sugar over the cookies with the cut-outs in the other pan. Then place the cut-out cookies atop the jam-covered cookies to finish.
